About Us
Meet Your Farmers:
Gene, Zoe, Billie & Ludo
We’re Gene and Zoe. We’re the husband and wife team that started Capella Farm in 2023. We met via Tinder in Denver way back in 2015 and have been pretty much inseparable ever since.
With a shared love for the natural world we’ve followed curiosities and passions together through 11 countries, a historic home renovation, a six month odyssey in a 16 ft trailer, and finally found our path to bring the beauty and nourishment of the natural world to as many people as we can through Capella Farm.
With the help of our trusty pups, Billie (husky) and Ludo (Great Pyranees), we care for a 111 acre farm on the Olympic Peninsula of Washington State.
We use regenerative farming practices, permaculture principles, curiosity, ingenuity, and a lot of help from our friends to bring you fresh, seasonal offerings in the form of flowers, medicinal herbs, and farm ferments.
Our Mission
Our mission is to cultivate the highest quality cut flowers and medicinal herbs we can while employing the most sustainable and regenerative growing practices available to us.
5 Long-term Goals
Prioritize the health and longevity of the ecosystems we are fortunate enough to call home - on the farm, on the peninsula, on our planet.
Apply regenerative farming practices, permaculture design principles, and sustainable measures to all that we do and grow.
Commit ourselves to continued education so we can be the best land stewards, growers, and naturalists that we can be.
Find new and interesting ways to help ourselves and others connect to the natural world through its beauty, nourishment, and ability to heal.
Live well and help others do the same.
WHAT WE DO
Located on the stunning Olympic Peninsula of Western Washington, Capella Farm was founded in 2023 with a deep love for the natural world.
Everything we make available to you has been carefully chosen and cultivated for its sustainable nature, in a regenerative environment, by applying permaculture growing principles and a consistent commitment to continued education and experimentation.
